Jon Beinart I've been drawing/painting every day for over three weeks. I'm addicted! 2010 is going to be my prolific year.

The Island of the Dolls, also known as Isla de Las Munecas, is the most bizarre tourist destination in Mexico, featuring creepy dolls hanging in trees

Jon Beinart I'm very excited about a new painting. I'll have something to show soon. Feeling inspired!

This article about my Toddlerpedes was published in MX today. The article was specifically calling out for second hand baby doll donations... So hopefully the generous people of Melbourne will send their second hand dolls my way.. Hint hint. Apparently the same article will be printed in the equivalent newspapers in Sy...dney and Brisbane too. Thanks Nicole Cleary for this opportunity!!
This article was printed in MX on Friday, December 11, 2009. The special xmas edition.

Jon Beinart The MX photographer took photos of me with my giant Toddlerpede today. There will be a short article and pic about my sculpture in MX this week (possibly tomorrow). If anyone spots it, please let me know. MX is a newspaper that gets handed out on public transport in Melbourne (useless trivia for people who don't live h...ere). Off to the studio now... I'm painting again.. Hoorah!

One of my drawings was published in A Visionary Art Catalogue titled 'Culture Seeds' along with artwork by Andrew Gonzalez, Luke Brown, Martina Hoffmann, Robert Venosa, Mark Henson, Roman Villagrana and others. The published drawing is titled 'Rasta Faces Faces Faces': http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=23 27930&id=3...8600048174

Jon Beinart The people behind http://craftastrophe.net (love the name) asked me if they could use a Toddlerpede for their logo. They blog about craft oddities, many of which relate to genitals... so I said yes. Who doesn't like genitals?!

Jon Beinart Another studio shot with the Giant Toddlerpede. I wasn't actually looking to the heavens for inspiration... I was just waiting for the flash to go off while wondering if I looked natural... Photo by Max Milne.
